Grace is super excited to be your President this year! She plays violin in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO) and her chamber group at SFCM. You'll probably find her procrastinating to practice until late at night. When she’s not practicing, she’s probably spending too much time binge watching Netflix, watching kdramas on sketchy sites, or eating hot cheetos at 3 in the morning, but she’s always free to ask questions or talk to, so chat her up! She’s excited to continue being on the officer team as your President this year and can't wait to meet all of you virtually!
Marcus Au (Vice President)
Emily Chen (Projects Director)
Emily is a current senior who has been part of MFC for all 4 years, and is excited to be serving as your Projects Director this year. She plays the piano (and a bit of flute), and is trying to lean some ukulele in her free time. Outside of school, she enjoys playing badminton and watching The Office.
Richard Niu (Treasurer)
Richard is ecstatic to serve as your Treasurer for the 2020-21 school year! He has played cello for 6 years, and plays in both Lynbrook’s orchestra as well as the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (CPYO). When he’s not practicing (which is very often), he likes to spend too much time playing surviv.io, watching YouTube, or doing karaoke with friends. Feel free to message him with any questions you have!
Allison Hsieh (Secretary)
Allison is a senior pianist and is super excited to be your MFC Secretary this year! She has an obsession with the Chinese language, Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto and stinky tofu. In her free time, she enjoys working on her project of translating "Nirvana in Fire" into English, playing volleyball and showcasing her terrible art skills on Skribbl. Despite her fear of social media, she loves meeting new people, especially underclassmen, so feel free to approach her with any questions, music recommendations, or music puns!
Jeanie Chan (Activities Coordinator)
Jeanie is super excited to be the Activities Coordinator this year! She plays the cello and piano and loves listening to music. She enjoys performing at senior centers and spreading her passion for music. In her free time, Jeanie is obsessed with drinking boba, eating unhealthy snacks, watching Hong Kong dramas, and practicing calligraphy for fun. She can't wait to meet you all virtually!
Angela Sun (Public Relations)
Angela is a junior this year and she is very grateful to be your Public Relations Officer. She plays cello at San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO), and spends most of her free time playing on her phone or taking naps. She is also very excited to meet you all virtually!
